Cutting
- Cutting Machines Used:
- Straight Knife Cutting Machine
- Band Knife Cutting Machine
- Activities of the Cutting Room:
- Numbering – All cut parts are numbered for identification.
- Pattern Checking – Each cut component is checked against the master pattern.
- 100% Panel Inspection – A full inspection is done to ensure accuracy.
- Bundling & Counting – Cut panels are bundled and all parts are counted.
- Receiving Fabric – Fabrics are first collected from the store.
- Fabric Relaxation – The fabric is relaxed to remove tension before spreading.
- Marker Making – Marker is prepared on marker paper according to the approved pattern.
- Fabric Spreading – Fabric is spread systematically on the cutting table.
- Marker Placement – Marker paper is placed on top of the fabric layout.
- Fabric Cutting – Cutting is done using straight knife and band knife machines.
- Replacement – Any faulty parts are identified and replaced.
